First things first, I am overjoyed to see that it is fitted with full sized HDMI. No Mini or Micro HDMI, just regular HDMI despite its size. This alone makes it much less of a headache to connect to. VGA and AV ports are unfortunately a little too big to fit on the monitor so must be done via a (presumably) proprietary VGA-USB cable and a standard composite to 3.5mm cable. This is an acceptable compromise as both AV and VGA are less common than HDMI.While a little too small to be a primary display it is an excellent tertiary/diagnostics monitor, perfect for keeping an eye on the charts or performance metrics that it displaying. Really, even my Samsung Note 9 has a larger screen.There is a little stand included that can be screwed in into the back, very basic but the angle is just right to place on a desk and if you’re the handy type you could probably rig up a custom stand yourself.There is also a hole to hook the display onto a screw but I am personally not a fan of this method. Firstly there is only one hole so with the additional weight of the cables sticking out the side it will tilt to the left. Second the button to change the display settings is not flush with the back, meaning it will sit awkwardly against the wall. If you need it to go on a wall try to use a custom mount and the two screw holes instead.I plan on using this display to set up a few headless Raspberry Pi projects, but seeing as I now need a few Micro-HDMI to HDMI cables this may be a while into the future.
