Ok, so I know the description for this brush is for tubs, tile, etc., but I was actually looking for a brush with good reviews that would be durable enough for carpet cleaning. I have 2 small children who are always spilling something on the carpet, and a cat that has accidents from time to time. So just short of steam cleaning the carpets every week, I thought I’d give the brush a try in combination with a pretreat carpet stain remover I also purchased with this order.Let me just start off by saying, the item arrived EXACTLY as described! The part to hold was comfortable and extremely durable, and the bristles were very course. I sprayed the pretreat on the stain I was trying to get up, let sit for a few minutes, and then used the brush to scrub it out. Worked like magic! A quick wash of the brush when I was done, and it looked good as new.I cannot personally attest to how the OXO brush will work on tile and tubs, but it worked great on carpet! Highly recommend this product!
