I was installing new leather seat covers on my 2018 f150. I figured it would be a good time to replace my driver seat foam. Turns out the spring underneath was broken and needed to be replaced. That was the cause of the sagging seat more than the foam. The new foam is comfortable though. The clips that secure the seat cover are not as nice as the factory units. I had to use a couple of zip ties to secure it properly. I did not have to do this on any of the 5 year old factory seats.If you think you need new foam, you might actually need the spring. It was around $100 from my local ford dealer. I guess it’s very common for them to break. I’m roughly 195lbs and mine was wasted.
