Parts for the Kobalt 80v MAX string trimmer are hard/impossible to come by these days. On a whim I bought this because it looked the like the screw patter matched on the Guard. Lo and behold, it actually fit.Haven’t used it much yet, but plastic seems pretty rigid compared to the OEM part I had on the Kobalt.Only complaint is that I couldn’t figure out how to attach the blade cutter with the screw provided. The hole was way too small and there was no hole on the guard piece I could find to fit it into. So I just used a small wood-screw to attach it instead of the provided bolt.
