Place the center hole in the bumper on top of the corresponding hole of your snare hoop. Re-attach the bolt through the hole in the bumper and hole in your hoop. It does not interfere with tuning and you can leave it installed on your snare. The bumper is 4in. in length. Protect your mounted tom shell from inadvertent snare rim bumps!
