OEM Hood Jake Stripes These stripes feature a gloss carbon flash (gloss black metallic) background with a matte gray Jake skull on top. The matte gray Jake skull is formed by small C8 flags that start tiny near the front nose and gradually increase in size toward the windshield. This creates a gradient effect, making the hood stripes appear darker at the front and lighter near the windshield. To maintain the cohesive design, the OEM Z06 rear Jake fender hash stripes are noticeably bright, seamlessly continuing the gradient transition from dark to light. How My Stripes Are Different: Color Match – My rear hash stripes are very close in color to the lighter section of the hood stripes near the windshield, though not an exact match. Since one set is at the very front and the other at the very back, the difference is practically unnoticeable! Matte C8 Flags – will the same matte finish like OEM hood stripes for the center section. Glossier Carbon Flash – We are using 3M 2080 HG so it is glossier and smoother than the OEM carbon flash.
