Reading some reviews going into this I thought assembly was going to be a nightmare, but honestly it wasn’t too difficult. Instructions were fine if you just use common sense and I was able to do this alone in about 90 minutes for the sectional and table. If you’ve ever done an IKEA assembly then you’re fine to do this. The negative side of assembly in my opinion is mostly from tolerances with the screws and assembly of the legs. It was tricky to get the screws to align sometimes when attaching two pieces and certain screws were tight to thread. When you assemble the legs you need to slide a connecting pipe between the two sides and it was very difficult to slide on. The screws all require an Allen wrench and if you use the provided one to assemble this instead of a screwdriver with an Allen wrench attachment then you would be miserable. I don’t think assembly is a reason not to purchase this, but just wanted to add my perspective since a few other reviews mention it.I took off a star because of issues with uneven legs on the chaise and the table, as well as uneven screw alignment for attaching the back of the two pieces. One of the legs for the chaise was noticeably shorter than the other 3. This didn’t end up being an issue because it was next to a support from the other piece when assembled, but it would make using it as stand alone pieces frustrating. Additionally, one of the legs on the table is uneven and causes it to wobble. The other issue is that the screw that is meant to connect the back of each side of the sectional for support is completely misaligned. No amount of adjusting would make these line up. Fortunately I was able to use a zip tie to keep the pieces attached, but still frustrating to deal with.Overall it’s comfortable enough to sit on and looks like the pictures. I’m 6′ 2″ and I can comfortably sit on this and spread out with another person. The pillows and cushions are comfortable and I like that they have removeable cases, although the back/side pillows tend to slide a bit but not enough to take a star off for. I think I’m happy with it for the price and it fits nicely on my apartment patio that’s 60″x110″. I’ll update this in a few months if there’s any problems with durability of the wicker or cushions.
