Summary: This 1994 Fender Precision Bass Squier Series, was, like its ancestors, an absolutely revolutionary instrument upon its introduction in 1951. The Precision or P Bass evolved throughout the 50s with changing electronics, body shape, and cosmetic details. This black beauty is from 1994, made in Mexico and it gives you that classic, simple, legendary precision that a P-Bass is known for. Body:Hardwood body in Black finish. Neck: Maple neck with a Rosewood fingerboard. 20 frets, pearl dot inlays, 1.62 nut width, 34 scale length. Pickups/Hardware: Split P-bass pickup, one volume knob, one tone knob, chrome hardware, original Fender tuning keys. Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body, and a few dings that do not affect playability whatsoever. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic. Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. Weight:7 lbs. 11 oz. Case: This guitar ships without a case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
