Thestrainer was removed when this was converted to a bass drum we have to sayit sounds bebopin’ awesome. The ten thumb screw tension rods, claws, and center support studs are still intact and work properly to tune the drum. Popa bass drum anchor on the front andthis drum is ready to bop or this couldbe a cool restoration project by adding a snare strainer and butt plate and wires to make this a snare again and utilize the leg rest and strap loop.
